Decarbonization at the Galápagos Ecological Airport
The Galápagos Ecological Airport is working to achieve Level 4+ “Transition” under the international Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) program, after having reached Level 3+ “Carbon Neutrality.”
This new level recognizes airports that implement concrete measures to reduce their emissions, following a roadmap aligned with the global goal of reaching net-zero emissions.
This milestone reinforces our commitment to climate action, environmental innovation, and a management model that is increasingly responsible — for Galápagos and for the planet.
